How long have you been on DeviantArt?

8 years.  Hard to believe it’s been that long.

What does your username mean?

Back when I created my account, t felt important to me that my real name should be part of my username.  The “presents” part was a bit of a spur of the moment idea.

Describe yourself in three words.

Counting skills need improvement.

Are you left or right handed?

Right.

What was your first deviation?

A short story featuring Princess Precious, a repeat damsel in distress who ranked her rescuers in order by the number of times they’d rescued her.

What is your favourite type of art to create?

Humorous Damsel in Distress stories.

If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?

I’d love to be able to create cartoonish drawings to go with my stories.

What was your first favourite?

When I first joined DeviantArt, I faved four pieces.  One is no longer on DeviantArt, as the artist deleted all his deviations when he closed his account.  These are the other three:

What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?

As I created this account mainly to satisfy my interest in DiD, I usually fave pieces that feature Damsel in Distress scenes without “adult material” nor getting into the “whips and chains” or “master and slave” aspects of BDSM.  If it’s lighthearted and fun DiD, I’m sure I’ll enjoy it.  I sometimes fave pieces without any DiD, though.

Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?

.  She impressed me so much, I married her!

If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?

Rather than put together a list and possibly leave someone off, I’ll simply state that if your views on DiD are similar to mine, then you’re probably someone I’d like to meet.

How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?

Yes, and I’m sure you know who she is if you’ve been paying any attention to my answers so far.

What are your preferred tools to create art?

Mostly my own overactive imagination, then typed out on Word.  Occasionally I’ve written a story with pencil and paper first, though, in the method used by O. Henry.

What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?

A place without any distractions so I can run various scenarios through my head until something clicks.

What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?

Meeting the woman I would eventually marry.
